Should a request you make fall outside the scope of building standard services, you will be informed prior to work taking place.
Temperature Control
201 North Tryon is equipped with a state of the art control system which gives the building a distinct advantage over conventional systems by more accurately managing the building's heating and air conditioning equipment to keep you comfortable and reduce the amount of energy being used.
The normal temperature settings for the building are: interior zones (away from the windows) 74 - 76 degrees and exterior zones (windows) are 72 - 74 degrees in the winter and 74 - 76 degrees in the summer time.
The temperature in a work area can be adjusted by and adjustable lever on the thermostat. If you are uncomfortable, please call Lincoln Harris at (704) 887-1260, bank associates should call the Bank of America HelpLine at (800) 698-4400. Hot/Cold calls are treated as urgent and are usually handled within 30 minutes of receiving the call.
After Hours Heating/Air Conditioning and Lighting
The state of the art control system allows you to program heating/cooling and lighting after 7:00 p.m. or before 6:00 a.m.
This can be done at any time in advance of working after hours. The DCX panels are located on each floor in the interior core hallway. A floor layout is displayed beside each panel allowing each tenant to determine which area he or she occupies and activate the building systems for that area.
To use the DCX panel, you must use your building access card. Once your card is scanned, the system captures your card information and records the time you actually used the lights and HVAC system after hours.
Should you like a copy of more detailed operating instructions for the DCX panel, please call the Management Office at (704) 887-1260. The 201 North Tryon engineering staff will train any building occupant upon request.
