When 201 North Tryon opened, a major goal of Building Management was to make occupants as comfortable in their office space as possible. Building Management provides tenants with a variety of events, programs and services to promote those relationships and ensure that tenants receive the highest level of service in the center city area.
Retail Amenities:
The Capital Grille - This restaurant features dry aged steaks, fresh seafood and an award-winning wine list served by a professional staff in a gracious, fine-dining atmosphere. Private dining facilities are available.
Java Joe's Coffee Shop - Java Joe's, uptown's best coffee bar - features gourmet coffee, espresso, cappuccinos and lattes. An assortment of delicious muffins, tasty pastries and melt-in-your mouth cookies are baked fresh daily. Cold treats such as frozen yogurt and fruit smoothies refresh and rejuvenate.
Han's Sundries and Dry Cleaning - This sundries shop offers a variety of snacks, sodas, cards and other last minute items, as well as a convenient dry-cleaning service.
201 North Tryon Shoe Shine Stand – Shoe shine stand located in the back hall near the Capital Grille Exchange Room.
Stool Pigeons - This casual restaurant/bar on the corner of 6th and Church Streets has gained a national reputation for a unique atmosphere that caters to professionals of diverse backgrounds. Stop in for lunch, dinner, or to catch the latest sports game.
Subway - This restaurant offers a fresh alternative to fast food serving a variety of tasty sub sandwiches, pizzas and salads.
Zink America Kitchen - Distinctly American! Wine, beer, cocktail and infusions list available - the hot Charlotte nightlife has embraced the American Cool of Zink.

Parking Garage - The 10-story parking deck attached to the office tower has 1,030 parking spaces and provides convenient access to the building. Entrances and exits are found on both Sixth and Church Streets. The parking garage's unique "way-finding system" helps occupants remember where their cars are located. Each floor features colorful artwork of prominent cars that were icons of their decades. Secured access and well-planned lighting provide tenants and visitors added comfort. On-site security is available to assist parking garage patrons in locating a vehicle, changing a tire or jump-starting a dead battery. The garage is equipped with CCTV (closed-circuit TV); intercoms at all entrance points, emergency call buttons and scream alarms. Each system is controlled and monitored from the security control center 24 hours a day.
Building Conference Center - A first-class building conference center is on the second (2nd) floor of 201 North Tryon. The conference center includes nine conference rooms with facilities to accommodate 5 people to 100 people. The center features excellent multimedia capacity, rear screen projection, a presentation podium and sound system. The center also includes a private phone room. Post Office - U.S. Postal Service letter drop off box is located in the lobby across from Han's Dry Cleaning and Sundries. Federal Express, Airborne Express and UPS drop boxes are located in the mailroom.
Bank of America ATM Machines - located in the lobby.
Outdoor Plaza Area - 201 North Tryon has a beautiful outdoor plaza equipped with benches, tables, and chairs, ash/trash receptacles and planters landscaped with magnolias, loripetalum and seasonal flowers. The outdoor plaza is accessible from the lobby level. The two entry doors to the outdoor plaza, one beside the ATM machine and the other next to the restrooms, have card reader access for reentry into the building.
Valet Parking - Upscale valet parking services are offered through the retail tenants for the convenience of their guests.
Digital Cable Television - Digital cable tailored to the business customer is provided to the building through Time Warner Cable.
Emergency Evacuation Training - In conjunction with WPS Disaster Management Solutions a leader in this field and industry, all Floor Wardens at 201 North Tryon are invited to attend our annual emergency response training program to help better prepare them for unexpected emergencies or disasters that we may be challenged with at our facility. Fire drills are conducted twice a year in conjunction with the Charlotte Fire Department, which offers helpful advice and feedback on our tenants' knowledge of emergency evacuation procedures.
Special Events Notification - E-mail notifications are sent to tenants to inform them of upcoming building events and street closings for events in the center city. These items as also posted on this website.
Tenant Services:
Tenant Representative Program - The 201 North Tryon Tenant Representative Committee (TRC) includes an individual from each Bank of America floor and each third-party tenant. Building Management meets with the committee once a quarter to notify the tenants of upcoming events and changes within the building. Special meetings are also conducted with guest speakers, including the Charlotte Police Department, American Red Cross and the Charlotte Fire Department. These meetings also allow the tenants to discuss topics such as cleaning, security, maintenance and other concerns with the Building Management.
Vending Machine Refunds - All building vending machines are provided by Canteen. Building Management has an agreement with Canteen for all tenant reimbursements to be handled in the management office.
